Workshop for users of initial training "Judicial protection against domestic violence - criminal law and civil law aspect"
In the premises of the regional office of the Judicial Academy in Nis, on December 23, 2025, a workshop was held for users of the initial training on the topic "Judicial protection against domestic violence - criminal and civil aspects".
The lecturers at the workshop were Ivana Milovanović, judge of the High Court in Niš, and Nebojša Đuričić, judge of the High Court in Belgrade.
The target group of participants were the beneficiaries of the initial training from the territory of the Niš appellation.
The workshop program included the following topics: normative framework and legal protection; problems in practice and discussion; case study.
Through interactive work, the participants, through the exchange of experiences and through discussion, had the opportunity to analyze challenges in handling and applying the law, problems in communication with institutions, as well as the importance of timely and effective protection of victims.
The workshop represents an important activity in strengthening the competencies of future holders of judicial positions in the field of protection against domestic violence.
Workshops on this topic for users of initial training from the areas of Belgrade, Novi Sad and Kragujevac are planned for the next calendar year.
