"Best EU practices in complex criminal investigations and trials for organized crime"
In the Support Project to Signs of Chapter 24: Justice, Freedom and Security, 10. and 11. June 2025. In Belgrade, training on the topic: "Best EU practices in complex criminal investigations and trials for organized crime"
The aim of training was to strengthen the capacity of judges and public prosecutors to conduct investigations, prosecution and trials in complex cases of difficult and organized crime and introduction to a colleague practice from the European Union.
The lecturers at the training were:
- Diego Lukas Alvarez - Public Prosecutor from the Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption and Organized Crime (Spain).
- Ernesto Sagiljo Tehrina - Judge of the Cantebria Courtabria (Spain).
- Ivana Bursać - Judge of the Venior Court in Belgrade, especially the Department of Organized Crime.
- Siniša Petrović - Judge of the Venior Court in Belgrade, especially Department of Organized Crime.
- Boris Majlat - Public Prosecutor, Head of the Special Department of the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade for high-tech criminal.
