The Judicial Academy, in cooperation with the partner of the National Alliance for Local Development (NADE), organized a round table on the topic: "Liability for misdemeanors related to public procurement under the Law on Public Procurement", on November 18 in the hall of the "Muzej" hotel in Belgrade for judges and judicial assistants of the Criminal Court of Appeal and the Belgrade Criminal Court.

The topics of the round table were:
•   Monitoring of public procurement and examples of violations related to public procurement, head Snežana Leposavić, Office for Public Procurement;
•   Important characteristics of offenses in the field of public procurement according to the Law on Public Procurement - experience from practice, Ivana Vlaović, judge of the Criminal Court in Belgrade;
•   Powers of the applicant during the misdemeanor procedure and filing an appeal against the first-instance decision of the misdemeanor courts, lecturer Goran Božić, head of judicial practice and judge of the Misdemeanor Appellate Court;
•   Challenges related to submitting a request to initiate a misdemeanor procedure for misdemeanors prescribed by the Law on Public Procurement, lecturer Dejan Maričić, Public Procurement Office.
