U Apelacionom sudu u Novom Sadu, dana 20. novembra 2019. godine, u organizaciji Pravosudne akademije a uz podršku USAID Projekta vladavine prava i Ministarstva pravde Republike Srbije, održana je obuka povodom izmena i dopuna Zakona o izvršenju i obezbeđenju koji počinje da se primenjuje od 1. januara 2020. godine. Obuci su prisustvovale sudije privrednih sudova sa teritorije novosadske apelacije, kao i javni izvršitelji.

The training was intended for judges of executive departmetns of the basic courts in the Novi Sad appelate jurisdiction, and the following topics were discussed on the occasion:
Backlog reduction and prevention
Data management – how to read the court statistics

The training was attended by judges of criminal branches of the basic courts and judges in the first instance from criminal branches of high courts within the jurisdiction of the Novi Sad Appellate Court.
The objective of this training was to present the results of performance of the courts in 2018 regarding solving of the backlog and case management, with a view to plans for the forthcoming period, the requirements under Chapter 23 and CEPEJ reporting requirements.
Biljana Sinanović, a judge of the Supreme Court of Cassation spoke on this training about settling the backlog and how to prevent piling up of cases, as well as on data management and court statistics. Judge Sinanović also presented the methods for development of judge’s individual plan for settling the backlog.

This training was held in two days: on 16 May 2019 at the building of the Appellate Court in Novi Sad, on the third floor, and on 17 May 2019 at Salaš Jelen in Palić.

The training was attended by judges, deputy public prosecutors, judges of misdemeanour courts from basic courts and high courts, prosecutors’ offices and misdemeanour courts within the Novi Sad Appellate Court jurisdiction.
The topics discussed during the training included:
International and the latest European standards against domestic violence;
The Law on the Prevention of Domestic Violence – action by competent government bodies i.e. the law enforcement, prosecutors’ offices and the courts;
Risk assessment;
Special insight into victims of violence, urgent measures and multi-sectoral cooperation through work of the Coordination and cooperation group of contact persons.
The lecturers on this training were Olivera Pejak-Prokeš, an Appellate Court judge in Novi Sad and Slobodan Josimović, Deputy Public Prosecutor in Novi Sad.

Seminar predstavlja osnovnu obuku radi sticanja sertifikata o posebnim znanjima u vezi sa maloletnicima kao učiniocima krivičnih dela i maloletnicima oštećenih krivičnim delom, a organizovan je za sudije, tužioce i zamenike tužilaca sa područja novosadske apelacije.

Evropska konvencija o ljudskim pravima sa osvrtom na koncept „Pravosuđe po meri deteta“ kao i napomene i razlozi za donošenje novog Zakona o maloletnim učiniocima krivičnih dela i zaštiti maloletnih lica u krivičnom postupku.
