The training was orgnized for judges of the civil branches in the jurisdiction of the Novi Sad Appellate Court, and the topics discussed during this training included:
- Preparation of a child for appearance before the court and the role of the court in such preparations;
- Hearing of a child;
- Free expression of child’s opinion before the court – forming and expression of an opinion, assessment of the opinion, communication with a child;
- Surrendering a minor and child custody removal – the process of planning and its participants and assessment of the best interest of the child.
The lecturers on this training were Ljiljana Marković, a child pedagogist and Mikaina Stevanović, a special edcation pedagogist.

The training was attended by presidents, spokespersons and secretaries of regular couts within the jurisdiction of the Appellate Court in Novi Sad.
The following topics were discussed during this training:
- Presentationon of the training programme and its objectives
- Promotion of mediation inside the court
- Promotion of mediation in the media.
Conclusions and evalution of the training followed.
The trainer on this training was Mirjana Golubović, Head of the Deparatment for specialized knowledge and skills of the Judicial Academy.

On 20 November 2019, in the Appellate Court in Novi Sad, organized by the Judicial Academy, with the support of the USAID Rule of Law Project and the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Serbia, training course was provided related to the amendments and supplements to the Law on Enforcement and Security, which will start being applied as of 1 January 2020. The training course was attended by the judges of the commercial courts from the territory of the Novi Sad appellate jurisdiction, as well as by public enforcement officers.

A workshop referring to application of the Criminal Procedure Code and powers of a public prosecutor with respect to the law enforcement with special reference to probatory action aimed at enhancing the knowledge of public prosecutors and law enforcement officers in criminology area was held at the Appellate Court building in Novi Sad on 23 May 2019.
